In 1960, the foundations were laid for the future growth of the Shanfari Group of Companies with the formation of a small trading company in the southern capital of Salalah.

The Shanfari Group of Companies continues to play a major role in establishing and developing the Sultanate's infrastructure - with active projects in government construction, Manufacturing, Tourism, Transportation and Retail. Today, the Group consists of over 25 companies and divisions, and employs over 5,000 people. Training programs are in place for our employees to learn and grow. With headquarters in Muscat, the Shanfari Group continues to manage its growing business portfolio from Muscat, all the way to the southern region of Dhofar.
